About cables & drivers

The number of cables you need depends entirely on your laptop’s ports:

• If your laptop has two full‑featured USB‑C ports, the table above shows the cable count for a plug‑and‑play experience.
• If your ports are different (e.g., HDMI + USB‑A), please contact us and we’ll help you figure out the best setup.

Driver note: Most S8 models work without any driver. The only exception is when you use the H5‑T cable – in that case, the driver must be installed.
