KWUMSY H1 Hub FAQs
Windows OS devices to extend & mirror instructions?
Windows Laptop Triple Display:
If your laptop does not have a USB-C port, you could connect your laptop to the USB-c docking station via a USB-TYPE-C(connection to the USB hub) to USB-A(connection laptop ) cable. This requires that your desktop PC transmits video signals via HDMI and not VGA. HDMI adjacent to USB-A does not work properly. The remaining two HDMI ports will work fine for video transmission. If this does not work it is possible that the USB-A port of the laptop is not powered enough and the multiple monitor adapter needs to be connected to an external power supply via PD USB-TYPE-C. The recommended power plug specification is 5V X 1A ≥ 5W.
Windows Laptop Quadruple Dispaly:
If your laptop has a USB-C(video and power 2-in-1) port, you could connect your laptop to the laptop hub docking station via a USB-TYPE-C(connection to the USB hub) to USB-C(connection laptop ) cable. This requires that your desktop PC transmits video signals via HDMI and not VGA. All HDMI is working properly. If this does not work it is possible that the USB-C port of the laptop is not powered enough and the multi-monitor adapter needs to be connected to an external power supply via PD USB-TYPE-C. The recommended power plug specification is 5V X 1A ≥ 5W.
Note: If the laptop's USB-C is not 2-in-1 for video and power it will function as USB-C ≈ USB-A.
Windows Desktop PC Triple Display:
You could connect your desktop PC to the computer docking station via a USB-TYPE-C(connection to the monitor docking station) to USB-A(connection desktop PC ) cable. This requires that your desktop PC transmits video signals via HDMI and not VGA. HDMI adjacent to USB-A does not work properly. The remaining two HDMI ports will work fine for video transmission. If this does not work it is possible that the USB-A port of the PC is not powered enough and the thunderbolt 3 hub needs to be connected to an external power supply via PD USB-TYPE-C. The recommended power plug specification is 5V X 1A ≥ 5W.
